Our Mission
Our mission is to transform communities by engaging children, college-age young adults, and churches in purposeful relationships.

What We Do

Project Transformation brings together college-age young adults in intentional Christian community to lead summer and after-school programs for children in underserved neighborhoods. Interns explore ministry-related vocations, meet with church and nonprofit leaders weekly, and discern their call to life-long service. The programs, held at site churches in under-resourced neighborhoods, foster meaningful connections between churches and communities. Numerous partner churches and organizations in southwest Texas collaborate to invest time and resources in supporting this impactful work.

We Wrapped Up an Unforgettable Summer

PT Rio Texas Summer Camp has officially come to a successful close for our children, collegiates, and churches! We're thrilled to report that the preliminary numbers on our summer campers' reading and social-emotional indicators are very encouraging. These early results suggest that our campers made significant progress, both academically and personally, during their time with us. We are eagerly anticipating the full results, which we'll be sharing with you next month.

In the meantime, we invite you to enjoy the end-of-summer videos linked below. These videos capture the joy, learning, and unforgettable moments that defined this summer camp experience. From fun activities and new friendships to personal growth and community building, our summer camp has been a season of memorable achievements and cherished memories.
